Mom's Night Out

Mom's night out is an opportunity to get together with other Moms in the area. We usually meet at a local restaurant, have dinner or dessert and swap stories, share ideas. All moms are invited to join our group, check back soon to get the date of our next night out.

Calling all Dads . . .

After more than a year of Moms getting together, word is out that the Dads would like a night out too. This will be an opportunity for MeFCA Dads to network and leave the kids with Mom for a change. Interested? Let Chris Montagna know.

The Year of the Rabbit

On Sunday, March 6, 2011, Capitol Area MeFCA held its 7th Annual Asian New Year Party at the South China Community Church in South China. With almost 50 people attending, everyone enjoyed a potluck mid-afternoon snack. Activities for the younger crowd included making your own red envelopes, book marks and tiger coloring book pages. For the older kids there was basket weaving, creating conical hats, dragons and games of all sorts. The biggest hit was a dragon parade, which will sure to be back next year!
